4DWN Skate Lessons
Skateboarding lessons at 4DWN are built around learning to skate, developing your skills, and finding your own style. Every lesson takes place at 4DWN Skatepark, giving students the opportunity to skate different areas of the park while learning at a pace that works for them. Lessons are led by our certified skate coaches, who bring experience across a range of skateboarding styles, including street and vert.
All experience levels are welcome. Our coaches meet you where you are and help you build the skills, confidence, and consistency to keep progressing.
4DWN skate lessons are available for individual and group sessions, as well as birthday parties. Book by selecting one of our coaches or choosing an available day and time that works for you.
Instructors
AKA CB. I’ve been a professional skateboarder for most of my life and a professional snowboarder for many years, competing in the X Games, Vans Triple Crown, and many other events around the world. I was also in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, where I placed 4th. I’ve had numerous signature products over the years, including a signature shoe with Vans.
I currently ride for H-Street Skateboards and have two signature boards, The Warrior and Cowgirl.
I’m excited to be part of 4DWN and offer lessons in a community-focused environment I believe in. I coach skaters of all levels, tailoring each session to their goals and offering suggestions based on their skating.
My goal is for every skater to leave feeling like they learned something new, improved, and had fun. 🤘

I’ve been skateboarding for 23 years and coaching for the last seven. For five of those years, I was an instructor at Camp Woodward, where I had the chance to work with skaters of all levels—from beginners finding their balance to pros and Olympians like Dylan Jaeb and Cordano Russell.
Skateboarding has shaped who I am. It’s taught me lessons about creativity, resilience, and growth that go way beyond the board, and that’s what I bring into every lesson I teach. My goal is to keep the true spirit of skateboarding alive by making sessions fun, engaging, and inspiring. Tricks are great, but to me, skateboarding is really about enjoying the ride, pushing yourself, and learning along the way.

Hi y’all, my name is Jimmy, and I’m a Professional skateboarder with over 25 years of experience. I’ve been coaching skaters of all skill levels for 10 years.
I’ve always had a passion for skateboarding, but as I got older, I discovered a second passion: teaching. I graduated from UT Austin and began working in Education as a supervisor for an elementary after-school program. I also worked at multiple high schools as an assistant debate coach and continue that work today. As a skate coach, I have the privilege of using both my passions to help skaters grow and enjoy life.
